Can I Get the Same Level of Outrage, Please?

prolifeJames Pouillon was an in-your-face kind of protester. He appeared to be the kind of guy who was a no-holds barred fighter for what he believed in. For that he was killed. When Late-Term Abortion Doctor George Tiller was killed, the media lost it’s collective mind.

The Huffington Post had this to say, “The murder of Doctor George Tiller is an abhorrent act of violence, and his family is in our thoughts and prayers at this tragic moment.”

I thought that perhaps the Huffington Post simply has a great deal of respect for life and that they truly felt sorry for murder victims. So I went to the site to see what they had to say about James Pouillon being gunned down in the street. I found a bunch of garbage from Bill Maher, but not one word on the shooting of James Pouillon. Not one word.

US Attorney General Eric Holder dispatched US Marshals to abortion clinics around the country to protect doctors. How many US Marshals have been dispatched to protect abortion protestors? I went to the Department of Justice web site to see what they had to say about this tragedy. Guess what I found. You got it. Not one word.

President Obama issued a statement saying, “I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.”

President Obama’s statement on the killing of James Pouillon. Not one word.

When Dr. Tiller was killed, Operation Rescue condemned it as a “cowardly act” while the National Right to Life Committee stated that it, “unequivocally condemns any such acts of violence regardless of motivation”

If you ask me, the proof is in the pudding. When an abortion doctor is killed, the right to life people come out and condemn the senseless killing of this man. When an abortion protester is killed, the pro-choice movement responds with not one word.

It seems that the pro-abortion media and our new pro-abortion government have exposed their attitude towards life. When it comes to the senseless murder of someone they feel is undesirable, not one word.

Those that think the 9/11 attack was an inside job are ‘truthers’, and those that think Obama isn’t a true citizen because he hasn’t produced his birth certificate are ‘birthers’.

Shouldn’t pro-life people be ‘lifers’, and pro-abortion people be ‘deathers’? Just a thought.

During the same weekend of Dr. Tiller’s murder, (May 09) the USA lost several US Servicemen overseas supporting their country. None of these patriots, or their families were given coverage or acknowledgement equal to that of the abortion doctor.

Let’s try and remember what is really important people.
