In a bad turn of events for the Obama Administration, the Associated Press’s Calvin Woodward decided to actually check and see if the crusade against the profit-crazy Health insurance companies was a good one, or if he was again tilting at windmills. I guess this explains why the White House had to start attacking Fox News and the Chamber of Commerce. They had to distract everyone from the fact that they are wrong about Health Insurance Profits.
Go here to see the full article. In it he basically points out that the profit margin for the health insurance industry normally runs about 6 percent and barely broke 2 percent last year. These industries that are so profit centered rank behind those other business sharks such as Tupperware, Clorox Bleach and Coors Beer. However, the top performer did beat out the corporate giant Jack in the Box!
