I agree 100% with you I felt the same way when I pulled up the article this morning. I pray that the family members are found and that they can return home safe but at the same time I am thinking to myself what makes these three girls any more important that the other people buried in the ruble. And as you noted the college has hired private contractors to look for the girls. There are thousands of suvivors that are dying from treatable injuries because there are not enough medical staff to treat them. It is a horrific disaster and my heart goes out to the families involved but I agree it is not the responsibility of the US government to find these girls.
