Victory In Massachusetts!

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010 by Dan Riggsby

225px-State_senator_scott_p_brownThanks to everyone, not just in Massachusetts, but all around the country who worked to get Scott Brown Elected. This is the first step. We can’t give up. We have to stop the progress of the freight train that is the Obama/Reid/Pelosi agenda. Keep sending the message that government control and massive spending is not the answer.

Congratulations to Scott Brown for a well run campaign. I would also like to congratulate Martha Coakley for a very gracious concession. With all of the examples of poor losers we have had in the past few years, with court cases and such. It was very nice to see a gracious concession, done the way it is supposed to be. Well done to Martha Coakley as well.

Massachusetts Senate Race

Thursday, January 14th, 2010 by Dan Riggsby

225px-State_senator_scott_p_brownThe Democratic Party is pulling out all the stops to make sure that the Senate Seat held by Ted Kennedy remains in the hands of the Democratic Machine. Republican Scott Brown has closed within 2 points of the liberal Democrat who is running against him. This is our chance to change the balance in the Senate to prevent the Democrats from steamrolling massive government spending through Congress.

The Rubio Campaign in Florida sent out the following request and we’d like to pass it along.

So please take a moment in the next few days to do three simple things:

1. Contribute to Scott’s campaign today.  Every little bit will help Scott fight back and finish strong.

2. Make calls. The campaign has set up a “call from home” program and EVERY conservative in America can help.  Are you willing to make 15 or more calls to help stop the radical left agenda by the Obama-Reid-Pelosi team?

3. Tell at least 5 of your family and friends to do the same.

Thanks for your support.

CNN is the winner in today’s Press War. Fox the big loser.

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009 by Dan Riggsby

As you all probably know, by now, I am a big critic of the press. I’ve sided with Fox News in the war with the White House and I like to call the press on shabby reporting. Looking at the websites of the major 3 cable news networks today, CNN is by far the most fair and balanced coverage of last night’s election. MSNBC, is ridiculous as always. Fox is the big loser though, because while it wasn’t as bad as MSNBC, it had farther to fall, and it did.

In a time where the White House is accusing them of slanting the news towards the Republican Party, this would be a good time to re-enforce the “Fair and Balanced” idea. Yet, Fox News failed to do that. It seems that the entire nation, especially Fox News, has been focused on 3 elections: New Jersey Governor, Virginia Governor, and New York Congressional District 23. A Democrat won in the Congressional election while Republicans won in the other two. CNN and MSNBC mention both. CNN makes excuses for the Republican win and MSNBC just whines about it as usual. But trying to find results of the New York race on Fox News proved difficult. I did find the results in an opinion piece on Fox News. I have to say, I expect than kind of coverage from the others.

Fox News, you let me down.
