soldierWhen doing your Christmas Cards this year, take one card and send it to this address. If we pass this on and everyone sends one card, think of how many cards these wonderful special people who have sacrificed so much would get. Muggers Get It, Why Can’t Obama

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 by Dan Riggsby

veteransday_flagIn Milwaukee, a 21-year old college student was mugged. When the muggers found his military ID in his wallet, they stopped. Then they put everything they had taken from him on the ground, apologized and thanked him. Then they went on their way.
.
Why can’t Obama do that? He could barely take 30 seconds out of his busy Health Care speech on Thursday to acknowledge the fallen soldiers at FT Hood.

And heaven knows that there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Obama would give a dime back to anyone, especially a veteran. So, Obama celebrates veterans day by leaving our troops in Afghanistan hanging out in the wind, while he checks poll numbers. Mr. Obama, you are the Commander in Chief. Act like you deserve the title and take care of our troops. Send what the Generals need.

Mr. President, can you show us that you have at least as much respect for our troops as a Milwaukee mugger.

Thank You to Our Veterans!

Thank You!

Thank You!

We would like to take the time to say Thank You to all of our Veterans.

You gave of your time, your youth, your innocence and some gave us your lives. All so we can live free. May we always remember your sacrifice and be worthy of it.

May we honor your sacrifice by not giving away the freedom that you fought so hard to give us.

God Bless our veterans and keep our Active Duty Military safe.

Calling All Veterans!

Monday, November 9th, 2009 by Dan Riggsby

StandToo_ShadowOur Friends over at Stand Too have a big Veterans Day Celebration planned. Check it out on their website.

Here’s the rub. They are not allowed to participate in the Veteran’s Day Parade, because they are a “Right Wing Radical Group”

Who is this liberal nimrod who wants to keep these patriots from honoring our veterans? Is it ACORN? Is it SEIU? Is it MSNBC? Nope.

Our friends are being prevented from honoring this nation’s veterans by none other than the American Legion. As a legionnaire, I am personally appalled and have expressed that opinion to the Post Commander and the National Commander. I would like to ask that all Veterans and Patriots please do the same.

The local Indiana Pennsylvania Post is:
Indiana Pennsylvania Post
(724) 465-2326

The Pennsylvania Rep is:

Kit Watson

PO Box 2324

Harrisburg, PA 17105-2324

Phone: (717) 730-9100

The National Commander can be reached at:
(317) 630-1200

Please take a few minutes out of your day today to call and let them know that this is not what our brothers and sisters died for, and this is not what the American Legion is all about. The Pennsylvania Rep is the important one, because the National Commander will send you to him.
